One of the most popular support services we offer at the Tutoring Center of New Hampshire is our SAT preparation class. This course spans five weeks, and meets each Sunday evening during that time. Each session focuses on a different section of the SAT, such as math, grammar, or reading comprehension. This course is designed to increase students' confidence with standardized test-taking, while also bolstering students' understanding of the SAT.
For this class, each student is provided with full-length SAT exams. A materials fee is included in the class tuition. We are also enrolling in advance for the January 2025 SAT prep class sessions. Start date is Sunday, January 5, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 pm. It is a 5-session program that covers strategies for all parts of the SAT. If you would like to reserve a seat, please Venmo a non-refundable $50 deposit -@kim-marotta-2. Balance of $480 is due by December 1, 2024.
We work with Official College Board Digital SAT materials and cover the strategies for every section of the exam. Homework is assigned in correlation with the skills and strategies taught each week. Class size is limited to 8 students. The total for the class is $530 (including the non-refundable $50 deposit to hold spot). (Payment is preferred by Venmo @kim-marotta-2 or PayPal [cliffordmarotta@yahoo.com]).
PLEASE NOTE: As of December 1st, 2024, this class is full. There are a few openings left in the Sunday 4:00-6:00 class, and new class added on Wednesdays from 6:00-8:00 PM, starting January 8, 2024.

Depending on the frequency of tutoring for each student, we accept payment on a monthly or case-by-case basis. One-time sessions can be paid for prior to or at the end of your student's individual session. However, if you are interested in an ongoing schedule of tutoring for the academic year, we request that tuition is paid on the first week of each month, and you reach out to schedule a recurring, weekly time-slot for your student.
In order to secure a spot in our schedule for your student, we ask for a registration fee of $50.00 to be deposited at the beginning of each academic year. This fee is surrendered in the event of a "no-show" or failure to provide 24-hour notice of intent to cancel. If the fee has not been surrendered, it will be applied to the tuition due for the month of June. Failure to provide 24-hour notice will result in loss of a session, which will not be rescheduled.
Yes. If a student cannot make a scheduled appointment, we always ask if the student can either reschedule for a different day, or join the scheduled tutoring session via Zoom. If a student would prefer to Zoom, the tutor will send a link directly to the student, inviting them to join the online meeting. Please understand that while we try our best to fit every student into our schedule, there are times where we cannot accommodate desired times for everyone. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
Every student has unique needs for support. Contact us to tell us more about what you are hoping a tutor can do for you, and we will start on a plan to help you get what you need.
